Spring Term 2022/23
On Monday 6th February, all children from Classes 1 – Class 6 were vertically grouped to participate in the first of our spring Learning 4 Life Days with the focus on learning about significant people from different cultures who inspire us and have made a difference in the world. Throughout the day, the children experienced opportunities to learn about important people past and present, including Edmund Hilary/Tenzig Norgay, Joseph Coerliho, Pele, Sophie Rider, Mae Jemison, Vera Wang and Dalai Lama.
Many thanks to all staff for organising and delivering this fantastic learning opportunity which really inspired and motivated our children to think about the positive impact that we all can have on the world and also about the incredible range of role models we can all learn from.
Autumn Term 2022/23
Our learning for life day this term focussed on health and well-being. Time was set aside in our very hectic run up to Christmas to participate in a day of health and wellbeing activities.
Classes throughout school were given a variety of options on how best to enjoy the day. Children were given opportunity to be creative through creating Christmas stockings or Christmas cards, mindful colouring, practising yoga, learning about what wellbeing is, filling out a wellbeing journal or simply reading a book for fun!
Children throughout the school had a lovely day and thank you to all the staff.
