 Midday Supervisor

 Contract Type:          Permanent, term time only

 Hours per week:        6.25 hours per week (Monday to Friday)

 Required from:          January 2022

 Pay Scale:                  Scale 1b

 Wainstalls School are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, motivated and talented individual to join our friendly and dynamic team.  The successful candidate will be required to supervise pupils during lunchtime, working within our school’s positive behaviour management policy. 

The successful candidate will be able to:

  •  work as part of a team as well as using your own initiative
  • to deal with situations regarding behaviour and first aid in a calm, effective and timely manner
  • be a positive role model for our pupils

The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults and expects all staff to share this commitment. Applicants to posts that are exempted from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act will require a DBS from the Disclosure and Barring Service before the appointment is confirmed.

Kids Club Play Worker

Required as soon as possible

Permanent Term

 Wainstalls School is looking to appoint an enthusiastic, motivated and talented qualified (NVQ Level 2 or equivalent) Kids Club Play Worker to join our friendly and dynamic extended care team.  

 The successful candidate will be required to supervise the care of children at the Wainstalls School Kids Club between the hours of 7.15am and 8.45am (Monday to Friday) and 3pm to 6pm (Monday to Thursday).   The successful candidate must be flexible as there may be times where overtime maybe available. 

 The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults and expects all staff to share this commitment. Applicants to posts that are exempted from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act will require a DBS (formerly CRB) from the Disclosure and Barring Service before the appointment is confirmed.
